« on: August 19, 2012, 02:52:47 PM »
y1    Guy's where do you buy your balsa, and do you have to buy a minamum, can you get what you want( weight and grain selection)?

Got a B/Day coming up and the wife just asked me "What do you want for your B/Day!!!"

  Talk about good timing!!

National Balsa.  Look for "bargain" grade in "light".  They will send some nice light wood at a good price.

If you want it hand picked as to grain and weight, Lonestar is the choice for me.

If you do a little bit every day it will get done, or you can do it tomorrow.

Gil, I'm probably going by Lonestar next week. Call me and let me know what you need. Another source of balsa is Bud Nosen not directly. Tom Dixon can order from him for you.
