If it is an older babe bee the reed is probably ok but may be stuck. If the engine flips over good, you might just fuel it up and see what happens. I use 15% nitro and 18 to 20% oil - 1/2 castor. A little more oil is ok. I use TD heads and play with shims to get the run I like. I don’t have a tach so test runs and test flights are part of the fun for me.
It can’t hurt to take it apart and clean it good especially if you have access to gaskets, reeds and such. I toothpick a slight film of blue RTV around the edge of the tank and between the tank and case. Not really necessary if every thing fits good.
