I'm excited. It looks like I may actually get to attend a whole contest this weekend. I've had zero practice, so I probably won't be competitive, but at least I get to go. That's something.

I'll get there Saturday morning. I've got the drafting machine in the van for you. Varley and Cox will be down Sunday. Think that is it from the Great white North.

Hey Mark did you not have this planned before the birthday party? My wife tried that on me whe oldest daughter was getting married for the second time. I told her, have fun as I will be in Denver that weekend. I mean I planned all summer for the Denver meet and was not going to miss it.

By the way I recognize some of the post office poster boys in the pics.

It's my Grandsons's birthday tommorrow also. It's OK, he lives here and we have a cake for him. Hopfully we'll embarrass him good at the barbecue at our house. The field is ready to go and the weather should cooperate. Oh yeah, we have food at our house too! Come fly and eat!

Well, I don't have anything to fly except for Sunday. I'll just spectate tomorrow and try to get some flights on the plane.

Tim, do you want me to bring the plane for you?

Oh, and the weather report for the weekend is uncharacteristic. 85 and clear tomorrow with light winds. 75 on Sunday and light winds. Partly cloudy both days. Should be cool.

Randy, what's wrong with the Ringmaster Deluxe for Profile? Or did you find out why it wouldn't start at Thun? I would say to bring the Bancheap for Tim...but I'm going to make him take the KISS! also (complete). If you want to fly the KISS! in Profile, you are welcome to do that. I flew it twice today and didn't crash it even once! Three flips for two flights...got it too wet for the 2nd flight, so had to flip it twice. Darn...

Rodney and I got the club trailer with the carrier deck to the airport and went over to BB McGraw's for a late lunch. They are shut down and out of business, so don't go there! Still have the Ironhorse Casino (a good choice) and Appleby's plus a half dozen fast food places. The closest Starbutt's is about 2 blocks SE, Howard.

No RMD this weekend. It's stripped down for repairs and some lightening operations. and a decent finish this time. The Avenger is sitting in the rafters awaiting repairs from VSC and the Shoe is in primer. So the Slider is the only flying unit right now. But that's OK. It flies pretty well.

Great contest, Great weather , 25 flyers showed up. Surprisingly 8 showed up to fly NW Sport 40 carrier. BBQ at Mikes was excellent with lots of dishes I haven't tried before. I'll put a full writeup and photos in flyinglines.org soon. Thanks to everyone who helped Judged and showed up. Regards.

Nice contest. Cleanup was a little difficult, because the Canadians took the trash bags to put gasoline in.

Not true Howard. Your trash bags were graduated in US gallons, and we Canadians utilize metric for gasoline storage.
