In the words of Bill Murray (paraphrased), you are a stunt god. Not THE God, just a god.
Wow, guys......... thanks! I really wanted it to look good an be a tribute to Steve, hence no pilot in the cockpit.
Billy sent me a piece from the lower wing of an original Wooley plane so that I could match the colors, and I did spend some extra time on it. Ir was 34 oz. when ready to fly. Nitrate substrate (no filler, just Sig Nitrate sanded), silkspan/cf veil covering everything. A coat of white PPG "mixing" white (thinned considerably) as a blocking coat and PPG Chromabase mixed colors. It only took about 3 1/2 oz. of mixed green to get complete coverage. Chromaclear for top coat.
It suffers from a not too sharp a corner, it was designed for the old FAI pattern, but it does them ok, and the rounds are easy as falling off a log!
Thanks guys!

P.S. Tom N., that isn't THE canopy, I haven't built THAT Argus (WC version)...........yet!!!!
The mold for the canopy above was sent to Billy W. for his OK when we were doing Aaron's '59 Ares. He put his seal on it, and it matches up to the Argus pretty well.
