First if you aren't I feel you should but what I am really looking for is input from those that are actually using the program. I have decided to write LineIII mainly because I feel it can be made much more user friendly for us that don't speak in metric. Thankfully Roger V. has volunteered to help with the calculations and I can handle the programming. Am attaching the first (rough) draft of what I have in mind for your scrutiny.
As you can see I simplified the input data, eliminated some of the parameters that I always leave at the defaults and everything is in US units. I am also leaving out a few of the calculated results because they never meant anything to me anyway.
Being mostly a Stunt flyer and not understanding or caring what "Handle angle" is (Think it has something to do with whipping for speed flyers) I was wondering if I may be missing the boat someplace and leaving out something that might be important to someone besides Stunt flyers.
Also, just how important is it to be able to input data and see the results in metric? It could be done but would really make my job allot harder. Suspect this is part of the reason save and open doesn't work real well in LineII.
Please understand I am in no way downgrading LineII, it works and works well. The author did a great job for a quick and dirty user interface, I just want to take it to the next level.
