I know there are several flying in Stuart Florida.   Is Southland RC Hobby Shop still at Ft Pierce or Ft Lucie can't remember, but it is north of Stuart.  My grandaughter rode with me up there and the guy let her play on the similator.  It been a couple of years and I probably talked his ear off about control line.   H^^

There are several fliers that get together at Halpateeokie Park in Stuart at I-95 at Kanner during the week in the mornings, and Saturdays at a High School right off Cove and Kanner.  As far as Port St. Lucie, there has not been any
organized flying there since 2003 that I know of.
If you need contact info, email me for info.

Rusty,

Welcome to our CL group.  We are active and fly about 6 days a week there are five to six of us but three would be the norm on any given day. Please email me and we can get in touch and go over all the details. chfeldman@att.net

I see I have to put this in my archives.  The little grandaughter will probably be grown before we get there again.   H^^

Rusty,

No it is not required but if your going to fly with us on a regular basis a muffler will be needed. We fly daily in a park. Why don't you call me so that we can talk about things and get off this stunthanger thing.  772 678 2100

Rusty,
Yes we need the mufflers as we are across the parking lot for the HS baseball field and if we make to much noise they will shut us down.

Best,         DennisT

Dennis,

Are you running muffler on your electric????  That's a bit of an overkill!

Dennis,

The Kids are not usually at the school on Saturday mornings. Please do not discourage Rusty from coming out to fly with us. Just because your electric now and your ship only whispers like Robert said. LOL

Rusty, don't give them your phone number.   Nothing like being woke out of a sound sleep with someone asking you where are you.  Mean time you hear the engine noise in  the back ground.   Great use of cell phones so they could talk me to the soccor field.   Great bunch of guys.   H^^

I'd ask the guys there.  One of them might have a spare.

I flew with the Martin County guys.  They do have a nice field.

I was able to do a loop and didn't fall down from being dizzy after over a 2 decade layoff.  I need to practice more before I call myself a pilot again.

Does anyone know where I can buy a control line reel for my lines?  The plastic has deteriorated to the point it is useless.

Thanks.

Try Melvin at MBS Model Supply .    H^^
