All I can say is they are lying! They claim that the formula is the same as the original. This day and age it is so runny it is uncontrollable. There doesn't seem to be anyway to contact them on line. There is a phone number on the tube I have not tried it. All I can say is be warned Ambroid is not the same good old stuff.

The old Ambroid was a big step up from Testors, but still nothing to brag about.

I bought some "new" Ambroid just for old time authenticity.  It wasn't so great.  Not really authentic. But you can still use the empty tube for tip weight.  The only thing you can't do with Tite Bond.

I have switched over to SIG Sig-Ment for places where I use to use Ambroid.   The local hobby shop only stocks the small tubes of Ambroid.  Sig-Ment is 4 ounce tubes. H^^
