In the process of building a suitcase sized take apart.  My designs are a bit different.  Particularly interested in leadout attachment to bellcrank.  Anybody have pictures of bellcrank/leadout installations of planes where the wing is breaks down into two pieces such as Yatsenko planes?  There is probably a thread somewhere on this forum with details but I can't seem to find it.

I have no experience with this and honestly I am replying almost as much to subscribe as anything BUT if I remember correctly basically you use something similar to line clips to connect to the bellcrank.

Looking forward to seeing other replies.

 I think they use some kind of spool setup on the leadout connection at the bellcrank. Might wanna ask the Combat guys too.

On my electric Cobra E, I just made a small loop of lead out wire ( 1 3/4") off the bellcrank, and connect clips to them with the leadout wire in the wing.

 Doh! Actually, I did forget until you reminded me here that Phil flew Combat too. I know that Jim Ehlen in our club has a slick way on his combat planes for this, I just don't recall how it's setup.

Hi Larry,
The model is not mine, so I don't know, but, my guess is, as the leadouts must have a loop in the end, the owner should insert some sort of "lock" in them to prevent it.
