Anyone out there have a picture of the All American Sr with the original paint scheme. I have a pretty good idea of the red/white/blue pattern but would like to check out a few details.
Thanks

Hi Sam,
I think Tom Niebuhr just did one for somebody out west in the scheme your talking about.
Oh, BTW..any word/specs on that Bearcat Brodak was thinking about kitting?(profile/vs full fuse?)

Richard,
I don't have the specs here but I think i posted them a few weeks ago. Seems to be leaning towards full bodied but it's quite a way off.

One of my flying buddies, Joe Connelly, built this beautiful All American and to the best of my knowledge painted it like the original.

Here is the one that I did for a west coast customer. The scheme is from the Dmeco ads, and it shows the one wider inboard panel. I am startng another one for another customer now.

Those are both fantastic. Thanks very much. The scheme looks pretty much as I had pictured it but it's good to be sure. Did you paint on the stars or use decals?
Thanks again.

Hey Tom you are one terrific builder, but, how do the owners plan on using those birds? I did not get appearance points as I admitted that the plane started out as an ARF. The wing came loose twice before I finally stripped the plane down, cut into it and glued the wing properly. Also stripped covering and recovered with auto clear over every thing. Live and learn don't be so honest. DOC Holliday

John,
Thanks for the compliment. OTS does not have BOM or appearance points. Also, the person that I built that airplane for, doesn't fly in contests.
Sam,
The stars and AMA numbers are painted, using vinyl stencels.
