You can "expand" the plug.  Put it in a vise and tap the end until it expands.  Most electronic stores have replacements.

4mm brushless motor bullet connectors will fit and work better. Or, you could wire a Deans Ultra plug socket right to the battery, and install a matching plug on the starter. I bet it won't accidentally come apart!

I  noticed that some of the power panels & other banana plugs don't fit so well.  Plugs are under-size.

I have been buying banana plug patch cables from a high end electrical supplier and cutting them in half to make two good-quality plugs.  The cable is factory-sealed to the wire.

    Hi Dave:

I must concur that a good banana plug is a rare item!  I have tried three different brands and the spring fingers are made of some type of dead soft metal.  I expand them for tight fit, and they are deformed, ruined, the first use.

Where has all of the quality in goods gone?

it you use deans plugs or bullet connectors, do you have pigtail off the battery?  or something else?

D you have some panel mount solution?

I have a mess of Anderson power poles that I wont use for e- flight.  I may do that.

I need to to that with my glow leads as well.
