Arlan and I got out today. Just put up a few flights with my SkyRay. I let Arlan fly it. He gave me some tips, and said I needed to close my handle spacing. When we were done I stopped by his house and he cut the cable, adjusted the spacing and recrimped the cable. (Thanks Arlan)

He said the wings were level both way, but in outside and insides it hinges. What should I adjust?

When I got in the truck to leave the field the temp display showed 71 degrees. Tee shirt weather! <=

Hinging is usually too much tip weight.

My Skyray is a bit tailheavy, but still needed the LO's moved forward. I tried taping a penny on the inboard tip and it was not an improvement, so I taped a penny to the outboard wingtip, and that didn't help either. Hinging is either too much tipweight or LO position, so 'speriment with both. Also get rid of most the rudder offset, and maybe put in a small dab of engine offset (to tighten up the lines quicker when they do go loose). Getting a trusted buddy to fly your plane can open your eyes to trim problems that you are overlooking. Good job! Nobody asks me to fly their plane.  :X

Anyway, 71 is 20 better than 51, but either works. OTOH, 91 is about 20 too much, especially with 90% humidity.  :P Steve

Didn't get to fly until today...it was only 67 and breezy.  My friends did call me yesterday, while I was working, to let me know how much fun they had though.

Actually, it was Lou and I a Chizler short kit.  We keep getting a "LITTLE" pressure from our friends to finish them too.

Very nice kit too, I might ad.
