2017 Golden State Stunt Championships Cancelled; Very Sorry

As those of you who attended the GSSC last year will remember, I announced that I may not be able to return as the CD. I asked for a volunteer to replace me, but there have been none. Now my circumstances dictate I cannot return. Since there is no replacement I felt compelled to inform the hotel and airport authorities that we will not be returning so they could release the dates and move forward.

This would have been the 39th annual contest, and I'm sorry to see the tradition end . . . oh, wait a minute . . . April Fool!

  I have never been to the contest and it upset me! Might as well have kicked my dog!  There might have been more comic effect of you had waited a while today to post it!, but I guess there is still more shock and awe to come?

Well I almost blew it. I woke up yesterday thinking it was Saturday and posted the joke. Went to the kitchen for coffee and on the way back realized it was Friday. I think it was up for 2 or 3 minutes before I got it off. Did get one message about it. Guess I just couldn't wait.
