2015 Fall Follies
« on: October 06, 2015, 02:38:14 PM »
A few more positive things came out of the Salem contest last weekend , Walter Hicks flew a plane with his KZ77  in it , it is an engine that will run in a docile mode & show tremendous power as the tank goes lean, Thank you Walter for showing us how it runs, Also one of the guys that's flown a few years in Advanced has moved up to Expert & looks well in doing so. Mark Scarborow (SP) will move up with a new plane & practice.

Scarborough.

Mark, if you'll use a TUT I'll buy you a burrito at every contest we both attend -- then you can call yourself a professional factory pilot.

But you gotta pay for it.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

If you're really nice I'll buy something at Taco Bell.  Otherwise I'll just stop at a 7-11 and put the thing on my exhaust manifold on the way to the contest.

Just to help give credit where it's due, Walter's engine is a (Kaz) Minato K77 . It's built to his design specifications. In fact Kaz calls it K77RE. Just trying to be fair-.

He's back, planes are delivered.  He's already prepping the P-40.
