I guess with views of looking at having to send over a moki... having to modify it, having to do extra work the end result probably isnt going to be that much of an improvement. Taking all this into consideration we should probably run with that as the engine choice.
Also becasue your farmiliar with its setup - it can be setup fairly shortly. As time will be a factor once we arrive I will be busy getting myself ready for 2 events so this is almost a side event for Rowland Snr.
I do not have a problem purchasing the engine also - bear in mind the cost of flying oversea's car rental, accommodation - a little bit more really isnt a problem.
You can email me pjrowland.family@gmail.com if youwant to talk about $$.
As I initially mentioned, I'm not asking for a loan model, becasue there is little incentive for someone to provide said plane. But if you wish to loan the model for the contest and want the engine back - I would be happy with that also ( the main point of this excerise is to enable dad to fly so he can say " hey I flew in a US Nats ".
The reasons we were going to donate was to give back to the stunt community, down here we are all for trying to help up and comming flyers become better, to push the sport and to make new friends. Stunt needs more juniors and those fringe fliers when they get a better model alway become better. We have a local builder who pumps out 4 - 5 modles a year consitantly and only has enough room for maybe 10 of his favorites. So many MANY models get sold and handed down to others who campaign them for many years.
We wanted to offer that to a lucky junior or deserving Advance / intermediate flier, obviously we would consult with the guys who are at the contest to come up with someone who would deserve it. If you want the engine back - thats fine, if you want $ 75 for a new one and that can also be given to a flier, I dont mind doing that either. Its a small price to pay for the joy it will give someone.
Cheers guys.
Ohh and im glad the number is on the top

The word
smartass jumps to mind

That thread was meant to kill time there was little seriousness to the conversation

I would be happy with that if you want to go that way.. The moki .51 is a superb engine. I have no further requirements for the moki .51 - Currently in my line up Ive got:
1 xSaito .72
1 x Saito .56
4 x stalker .61
2 x Stalker .61 Longstroke
4 x Stalker .81
1 x Stalker .76
5 x Moki .51 ( all run in non have had more than 500 flights. I can pick one of the fresher ones for you.)
10 x Enya .19's ( lancaster project backups. )
The moki .51 I can part with one of the ones that has been run, all also in perfect condition
- I know dad wants to keep the NIB moki ( why i dont know.. ) Im a stalker man..
If you want to run it in, that would be Fantastic.
Yes good luck to all those competing in the Australian Nationals ** GO JOE!! ( non biased..

)
- I will not be in attendance due to work commitments I cant get Holidays and then expect MORE holidays to go to USA - So I guess you can say Im foregoing my own Nats, to come to USA Nats. And you cant wipe the smile off my face
