Thanks for the kind words Doc, and all others.  I was happy to see Gerald get the Corsair.  I think it was a perfect match.  This one is a fun plane to land.  Just fly it level to the ground and let itsettle on.  Then it rolls out with the tail high.  Just progressively keep feeding down to keep the tail level and wait until the tail settles in.  Really a cool landing.  The gear is rather stubby due to the wing configuration and acts like one of the best planes to land around.
Perhaps we can get Gerald to post a shot of the Corsair once he did a little more trim work.  He did a great job.  Gerald, feel free to take my numbers off it and put yours on.  I'll see you this spring, buddy.

"The Bearcat fuse looks too long in the nose (for balance, I suppose), and the wing looks to be too high aspect ratio for the Bearcat design.  However, it won't be mistaken for a Nobler or whatever......and Stunt ain't a scale event anyway.... ;D"

Jim

I would like to revise and extend my comments about the Bearcat's "looks".....

After opening the kit (which I had told myself I wouldn't do ::)) and looking over the plans, I think the camera angle of the picture on the kit box makes the model look much more out of proportion than the view I get from the plans.

This should be a great looking Bearcat.  Thanks to Pat for all his work. H^^

Thanks for the comments on the nose of the Bearcat, Jim.  The funny thing is that when stunt people see it, they think two things.  First, it very much looks like a Bearcat which satisfies the scale urge and at the same time, it looks like a stunter should which makes the view of stunt planes happy.  We have both ends of the spectrum touching this way.
