incidence meter..

  Mornin' Fellow's  I have an older incindence meter  that isn't  the laser type, what type do you use and do you like it?
 I do want to be as accurate as I can with setting this stuff..
  I also am using a line level on the crank shaft of the engine, what do you use on your engine??

I use a couple of old Robart incidence gages.  I looked at the laser ones but was not impressed.  I use 1 on each wing half to make sure there are no twists.  It makes it easier than trying to move one from one wing half to the other.

I prefer the old
robart meter. I have two laser meters and the Robart is much more accurate. Plus the batteries are not dead when I need it most.

I fell for the laser hype also, durn thing isn't worth using. Bought a Robart, then about a year ago bought a Great Planes digital. The old Robart can be read just as accurate as the digital and it's really hard to beat. Only thing better is having two.
