Very sad to hear about Joel. My condolences to Diane. they both supported control line and made many friends.
This type of accident happens way too often. Very sad.

Very sad news. I knew Joel from when he lived here on the East Coast. I looked at his obit and noticed that there was no mention of his roller skating expertise. He was a roller dancer and a judge as I recall. My sister was a champion roller skater and Joel knew of her and we spoke about skating a lot.

A very decent and gentle man; he will be missed by all who knew him in all the various disciplines in which he was involved. Godspeed Joel...
