Gilbert (Gil) S. Greenburg, Jr.
« on: October 16, 2012, 07:43:35 AM »
Sad to put this notice here, but Gil Greenberg has passed away; he passed away on September 27, 2012 in Winchester Hospital (he is from Reading, MA).  Even though he was more in to the engine collecting business, he was considered a fellow modeler and he will be missed!

Sorry to hear this. I believe he was also known as "Original model engine man" on eBay. I bought several engines from him over the last few years. Always had some very nice engines.

It wasn't that you could and others couldn't, its that you did and others didn't.

Gil was a nice guy....he came to several GSCB Swap Meets (the next one is November 25th, BTW) and everyone that I know spoke highly of him.
