A Heavy Heart - Hank Womble passed.
« on: September 19, 2009, 07:09:32 PM »
Hello to all in Stuntland,

It is with a "heavy heart" that I have to tell you all that Hank Womble from our club passed away last night at about 10:30 PM. His heart gave out and the medics could not revive him with the defibrillator.

He will be waked at the: Boyd Spencer Funeral Home in Babylon N.Y. which is located at 448 W Main Street (Montauk Highway) in Babylon. The phone number is 631-669-2400 and the viewing hours will be on Monday and Tuesday at 2-4:30 in the afternoon and 7 to 9:30 in the evening with a Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning.
I know that all prayers for his soul and the family and all of us would be appreciated. May he have fair winds and the sunlight behind him for his new flying site.

Cheers and May He Rest In Peace,

"Champione"

Prayers for Mr. Womble's family and friends. I obviously didn't know the man, but it's always difficult to hear about the passing of another modeler.

The last time I saw Hank was in Flushing last year. I've been hearing he wasn't doing to good for a long time also.

Thanks for sharing your stories you shared Hank, and may you have stunt heaven weather up at your new flying field
