I just purchased a new CC Talon 25. It has a donut shaped small magnet that the input cable is looped around. I have several Talon 35 ESC's and they don't have this. What is the purpose and do I need to route this wire away from anything in the setup?

OK, I call CC and they said it is to eliminate any radio interference, not a big deal on CL but does no harm and no special installation setup.

I just take them off.  PIA to get into a cowl.  Have to spread out the wires then break them.

Or cut the wire, remove the CC and solder wires to a more reasonable length, as they are generally long and just have to be tucked in somewhere.
