Hi all,
Has anyone traced out the full pattern and gained an accurate distance travelled?
Thanks, Chris.

You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.
Nothing in life is so exhilarating as to be shot at without result. It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required

With 21m radius, 5,2 sec lap time and 6.30 flight time the distance travelled is allmost 9.9km. L

Sounds about right, depending on the assumptions. Roughly a mile a minute for whatever the flight time is.

Hi Lauri and Brett,
Is there any practical point knowing distance travelled in F2B?
Chris.

No, I made a rough calculation just because you asked. Or maybe, if there is a flyaway, it gives an idea of max. radius where to search. L

Thanks again Laurie, my thoughts on practicality ranged from engine and airframe logging and average speed when considering airframe design
And perhaps one day insurance policies may ask such.
