I tried the search function, but found nothing on how to get the rod to move on wrist pin to remove piston, so I tried using a soldering gun (electric) to heat rod and pin connection to no avail, will some one tell me how do do this??

 Right now it is soaking in acetone...  Thanks a lot

Usually the heat from a soldering gun will do the job along with PB blaster. But I had one Super Tigre 46 that I could not get the pin to budge. I finally drilled aa small hole in the front of the case and drove the pin out. I then tapped the hole for a short 4x40 bolt to plug the hole. Once I got it all removed and cleaned up it was fine.

That is the only one I could not get out other ways, but Tigers can be difficult because you have to pull them out of the rear screw hole.

As Randy says. Heat, PB Blaster till it moves. Once it moves you just have to keep working it to free it up. Patience is a virtue.
