Hi All:

As the stated above, I would like to know if p&s for a Fox .35X fit into the following Fox engines.

Fox .29 Stunt circa 1955

Fox .35 Stunt most years.

Fox C.S. 1958

Fox C.S. 1961

Fox .29 and .36 plain bearing circa 1972

Sort of... Physically it'd probably fit, but obviously there are slight differences in porting, etc. Chances are the connecting rod needs to match the engine, but the sleeve, piston, and wrist pin will probably drop in. The better question is why a person would want to do that?

Hi Andrew:

Yours is a fair question that requires a fair answer.

I have a supply of worn out Fox .29 and .35 engines. I recently came into a suppply of new Fox p&c that were made for the Fox .35X. I think that most of the Fox p&c will interchange in those two sizes. Being an engine guy, why not try to improve things? Lol
