TT .09 vs enya .15
« on: September 04, 2009, 07:27:22 AM »
Hello Randy, ok here is my last questions and then I'll buy 1 or the other.
How much physically bigger is the enya .15 than the TT-09 in weight and engine bearer width ?
I'm buying a 1/2 A path finder and going to put one of them on it.

Hi Jim.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
From right to left Enya Sppedy 09, Thunder Tiger 09 and Enya 15-5

I have both of those engines as well as an Enya Speedy 09. The TT has a hole spacing of approx 1 3/16ths center to center and the Enya 15-5 has a spacing of approx 1 5/16ths. Case width on the TT is approx 7/8ths and the Enya 15 is 1 inch. The TT appears to be considerably lighter than the Enya but I don't have a scale to measure them. The Speedy 09 is almost identical to the TT

Hope this helps

Now that helps a lot. wish I could have a photo with an ap .09 added in to see the comparison of size. I though they said the ap .09 was build from and ap .15 case but Not 100% sure. Seeing the differences here sure helps to see the size differences.

Hi Jim..

Can't help with the AP. I don't have one.. Both the TT and Enya's are fine running engines. I don't think you can go wrong with either..
