Can anybody advise me/give ideas as to the feesability of using a 3-way bellcrank for twin throttle-control?
Has anybody tried this with two motors or even know if it's ever been done?!!!

Many have done this, sometimes even successfully. Brodak sells a kit (SKU BH-400) to adapt their 3 line bellcrank for a twin engine set-up. It was specifically designed for their Grumman Tigercat profile scale/carrier but could be applied to your project. You may want to order the Tigercat plans (or kit) to see how the linkage is setup.
