I got a metal tank from Randy Smith just the other day for this problem in my SV-11...its shorter and thicker and drops right in.  In other words
a six inch tank but holds 7-1/2 ounces.  Made and sold by John Brodak...Check out the "Magnum Tanks".  Or just call Randy at  Aero Products.

    I have had upwards of 8.5 oz in a 6" length. Just make it thicker - there's no rule that says it has to be 1" thick and 2" wide. Mine big one is about 2 1/4 wide (which is about what you need to fit the engine in, anyway), and 1 3/8" thick.

      When I was running the PA61, I was using around 7.6 oz of 10% (here)/15% (Muncie).  That was either with a 12.5-3.75 3-blade (Eather flatback) or 11.5-3.6 3-blade (Eather undercambered), #5 spigot venturi, etc (usual crap we have posted over and over). I would set up the 65 the same way and it will use the same amount of fuel.
