Strega/YS.63

Wow! Talk about a plumber's nightmare, this is it. Shoehorning a YS FZ.63-S into Strega has been a challenge; a Saito .72 fits more easily. All told there are 11 segments of fuel line in the already snug nose, necessitated by the fuel pump, regulator, filter, check valve, T's, lines to "Fuel Dots", etc. And because the fuel system is pressurized, each tubing-to-fitting union must be secured with a tie-wrap or clamp. Still have to figure out how to route the throttle linkage. (It's just going to be ground-positionable, not operating.)

One of the better decisions I made (I think, at least) was to use a Remote Head Lock for the glow plug. But if all this works out, I'll be able to fuel, start-at-idle and throttle up without ever having to take the wheels off the ground for fueling or starting, or muck around under the plane to remove the plug connector; which will be a nice change from most full-bodied stunters I've had.

Photos will follow when it's all worked out.
