Tim, I run my Enya .19  on GMA 10/22. Enya recommends 20% oil for that engine all of it being castor. What I did find out is that when I used Sig Champion which was 25% oil all castor, the engine would just shut off like someone turned off the switch. I was using good hot plugs equally and it still happened until I reduced the oil.

Most Enyas I have are pretty tough and not too picky on fuel as long as there is enough oil.  I run mine on either my Fox- type mix 8/29 25 Klotz/75 castor or my regular stunt brew 15/23 50/50 Klotz/castor all Byrons to which I add the nessessary oil.  The higher oil fuel makes them run a little smoother at a small power loss over the other.  In cooler weather maybe a little better to run the 23% oil.  Good for .09-.45.  Those .19s are real power makers!

Yes they are plentiful and have always been overlooked- I think because they used to be pretty expensive on the dealer shelves compared to others.  Their quality speaks to how many good ones survive today to be sold on the Bay.  I just counted I've bought 20 Enyas there with only one bad one -a .40 CX that was a junker.  My .19s are almost too much juice for the Flying Clowns and surely too much for my Guillows Trainer II.  They'd pull a regular Ringmaster or a light Dolphin easily.  I run these mostly on some old O&R 9-5 wood I have a few of.

Yes that would be good.  They like to run best nearly wide open anyway.  I'm thinking to blow up plans I have for the Shark 15 to around 40" and build one for the grandson with a .19 on it.  He has a .15 on his Sig Acromaster which seems perfect.

I would definitely go with a synthetic mix and not over 25% on the oil.  I had the same flame out problem with an Enya 35 when I used 28% oil.  It would just quit dead.  Runs fine on 22% as does my old Enya 19.  Good luck.
