O S 30 S
« on: May 03, 2020, 05:44:44 PM »

Got one of these babies, and I am thinking about building a Mathis Chizler for it,  Any suggestions as to R S M kit or scratch build, is the kit the same as Dick built, and if not what are the differences?  Thanks

Legs-in-Boots,

If you were able to get in contact with Fast Richard, mebbe he recalled any construction differences. Not sure who else might know. Possibly Keith Trostle. If I recall correctly, he is a serious fan of Chizlers.

As far as the RSM kit, I've got one to build and it appears to be RSM-good. I don't think you would be disappointed. Of course, every kit that goes in the box would require the same attention to get that result. I trust the new owner over there understands the legacy he's got since he worked there all along.

Anyway, I hope you get good answers to your questions, and I hope you end up with a fine, new "chiseled" airplane.
