I bought a used one a few years ago at a local swap meet.  I've heard some folks express favorable opinions on the GloBee but mine has a problem.  Readings are quite erratic.  Perhaps the optical sensor is dirty.

Recently bought a Hangar9 Mini Tach and pretty happy with it so far.

I've used a GloBee tach for a couple of years. Seems to work fine.
