Does anyone have a clue how one of these things run, compared the the current crop of .06's?

I've been told that they are not a particularly powerful engine.  I was going to buy one once from (senior brain fade), but he talked me out of it on that basis.

If my memory serves me it ws designed by Duke for use in Comet RTF planes. I have one of the 07's with the Comet logo on the side. At any rate Comet went belly up and he had the castings and not being of the wasteful nature he removed the Comet logo and presto the Fox 07. As to running it's nice but not a world beater and wasn't designed to be one. Biggest problem with it would be glow heads. I think that Virginia Hobbysports has a few heads in stock but running old motors with specific needs is always a problem.
Sad to say but it seems like the days of 1/2A motors is slowly coming to a close.
Electric power is the new king of small planes. it allows the challenged to flip the switch and take off.
