Do the stock Enya engines run best as a 4-2-4 or rich 2-2-2? What prop and fuel?

Best,    DennisT

Some will run 4-2-4  most all Enyas  will  run 2-2-2  or wet 2. The 50 will run a nice 4-2-4 or wet 2
It all depends on which Enya your talking about, the Enyas without  rings are  best!

My SS50 (ringed) runs a great 4-2-4. with the power of a 60. Break in was much easier than on the iron piston Enyas (SS-40 and 45). Don't know if it is the same engine as the 50 CX though. 8)

The Enya 50CX is a true ABC engine.  Best used with a 12~12.5x3.75 3 Blade prop in 4-2-4 or 2-2-2.

Pick your favorite 60 size model like Thundergazer, Trivial Pursuit, Impact....and you will be impressed with the power and speed regulation this engine delivers, even without a pipe.

There is a lot of guys flying down here with Enya engines like this and they are all impressed with the power, reliability, durability  and speed control, even without pipe.

I will be glad to help you to set it up if you need help.

Martin
