Hey Randy:
Have you checked the timing on that Enya 40 XZS yet.  I recently mounted mine on an old profile Tanager test bed (weight~52oz) and set it up with a pipe to experiment with it.   I'm starting with the pipe around 17", and an APC 11.5 X 4 prop.
What do you think ?

Just a thought: How 'bout running it with a standard SE muffler first to establish a base line for comparison with the tuned pipe run. Most people will be running them that way anyway.  

Already done that.  I think I've had this engine for almost a year now.  Broke it in on the bench and have had it in 2 different profiles, probably 30~35 flights total.  Completely stock the way it came from Enya including the factory muffler.  I like the way it handles, ran it in a 4-2 with 11-5 prop and 10% nitro.  Starts easy, power maybe a little stronger than my Brodak 40.

I have not used this motor on a pipe, maybe when the weather warms
But this is a very powerful  long lasting 40, it maybe one of the most impressive new motors I have seen.
If you try it use a 11 x 4 prop and 17.5 pipe lenght
