I thought you did a good job of identifying the engines in your post. These are both pretty high output R/C engines, but not racing engines. They'd be fairly suitable for Navy Carrier, if not highly competitive. I'm not sure if they still fly Class 2, but that is/was the second class, for .40's.
Finding a Navy Carrier enthusiast would be more difficult than finding an R/C bod to sell them to. You might want to put an ad for them in the Navy Carrier forum? Or, you could put 'em on eBay, but there's no telling how much you'd get. A friend just showed me the MVVS .40R/C he bought on eBay for $28...in nice shape. He'll probably stick it in a carrier model, 'cause he likes to fly with a throttle.
