Atwood .49 or .51???
« on: February 28, 2014, 10:22:11 AM »
Hi Guys,

I have an Atwood (Triumph?) glow which is in very good shape.  I do not know if it is a .49 or a .51..... it is not marked that I can see.  Is there an easy way to tell?

Thanks!

Hey, Bill, If its a .49 it will be stamped on top of the left lug, the .51 was not stamped.

Thanks, Phil.  I think it would be a perfect match to a Stunt Rocket!

Hey, Bill, I like the triumph engines. They make good power and are user friendly IMHO.

Sorry to read of the loss of your Dad.

May not be entirely true. I have 49's and 51's that are both marked and not marked.

It wasn't that you could and others couldn't, its that you did and others didn't.

hi Bill, My .49 is marked, my .51 is not. I have heard that some .51s were marked.
