OK, I need to find a new crankshaft for a Magnum 53. Since these are discontinued, any ideas where I can get one?

Thanks

Randy,

I checked the website and they dont list a 53 crank but they have contact info.  Maybe they can help if you contact directly.  http://globalservices.globalhobby.com/part/partsndx.asp

Randy,

I was afraid someone would say that. The ASP 53 is the same engine. Maybe those are still around.

Edit

OK, I checked Hobbypeople and they sell a crankshaft that is advertised as a Magnum XL 40-53 crankshaft. I assume this is the correct one. The 40, 46 and 53 use the same crank? Hmm.

The crank is on the way. I'll pick up new bearings at the local bearing supply place next week. I have plans for this engine and need to it run again.  :)
