Both will work. Both can be reworked by guys like Randy Smith. The C/L version seems happy with 11 - 11.5 diameter props,while the r/c will turn 11.5 - 12 props (not taking into account the weight, area, and drag of what plane it's in). I have both stock and reworked versions of both, they all preform fine, just differently. Cost/value is of course based on condition. Conversion from r/c to c/l is easy, Randy and others have both needle valve assemblies and venturies on hand. If you should get lucky and find that your neighbor's engine has some vobro-peened numbers or initials on the case or mounting lugs, then it has been reworked already and would be worth more than a stock one.
