Brodak .40 dimensions
« on: October 09, 2006, 08:20:15 AM »
Does the Brodak .40 have the same mounting dimensions and length as a Fox .35 so it could be a direct swap with no mods to the model? The length is also important to me in this case, because of built in spinner gap spacing on the model.

Thanks!

The simple answer is "No".  If you want a drop-in for the Fox, I believe a Double Star .40 is the only way to go. The Brodak was designed to be a drop-in for the OS Max .35S.

Thanks Ralph. I knew the Double Star would go, but wasn't sure on the Brodak. Didn't know the Brodak was the same as the OS-S though-good info! ;D

Just to summarize, I removed an OS 35S from my built up fuse Omnium and dropped in a Brodak 40, the needle valve was off by about 1/16th, other than that it was a perfect fit.
