Aerotiger
« on: August 29, 2009, 01:09:51 AM »
Just ready to run my Aerotiger in an Oriental, the question I have
relates to the tank height, when I had the Aerotiger in a profile
it needed to have the tank mounted a long way above the venturi
center line,at least 3/8" or it would run rich inverted or in outside
loops, what are others finding in a full fus model re tank to engine
height.
Randy
Will the Aerotiger run OK on a pipe.
Thanks
Paul Allen

Hi Paul

The Aero Tiger runs well on a pipe, muffler  ,tube or tongue. I have seen many with tanks in the same postition as other motors, Inline with the bar, The tank can, and does have a great deal to do with where you have to move it, up or down. I have not noticed that the AT 36 runs a much differant tank height than any other motor.
By the way if you have the vent or uniflow tube that is inside the tank to the up or down side, the tank will be effectivly moved in that direction when you mount it.
