Out flying today and my flying buddy said to me that he was having trouble
in the sq eights, so while sitting on the bench I noted that his Aerotiger was in a
fast 4 cycle for most of the flight but in the eights it switched to 2 cycle on the
down legs, just what he does not want, also noted the down side of the inside loops
it went into 2 cycle,using a APC 10.5 x 4.5 in a model based on the Nobler.
Fuel 22%, 1/2 & 1/2, 5% nitro.
Any suggestions.
Thanks

Sounds like , if the tank is right on, he should either add pitch and turn the needle a little richer, or add nitro and run the needle a little richer,
remember use the needle to give you your engine run as you like, not the speed up or down. Pitch will controll the airplane speed, not the engine run
Use the nitro up or down to help with a stronger or weaker 4 cycle.
Make sure you have a good hot plug in the engine.
also if you want less of a 4-2 you can run pressure on the muffler
let us know how its going
