Some folks instigated this. I worked up templates for a Ringmaster wing. The panels come 24 in. They can be used full length, or cut 4 in. off the tip to match the kit. A wooden trailing edge is recommended because the reflex in the foam will leave it prone to getting bent. One panel is drilled for internal leadouts per the original. I'd cheat and use external controls. Box of 4 sets with a set of building diagrams/plans is $40. I'll try to get it on the price list soon. In the mean time, call or email me.

Since I'm sure to end up with some slightly unusable panels this may just get me to build a Ringmaster. But I'll use a foam core and a plug in wing.

They get my vote! I "took out" the wing of my Ringmaster last season and replaced it with one of your foam wing sets. I had the plane ready to fly the following weekend and it only took a couple of hours of easy work - a half hour at the time. The wing is finished using one of the techniques you suggested; applying a thin coat of spackling and polyurethane mix, sanding it out, covering with heavyweight tissue and polyurethane and sprayed with Rustoleum. Couldn't be simpler!

I really enjoy making built-up wings, but as a beginner a foam wing and external bellcrank is very practical. I flew my first (1 1/2) inverted laps on my last flight of the season (40 degrees F and shaking, but not from the cold!) and I am going to use this setup next season to practice more and improve my skills.

Although some folks might find a foam wing in a ringmaster to be an odd thing I think it is a great idea!
