G21 35 ABC
« on: May 08, 2020, 08:48:55 PM »
Today I saw an ad that had an ABC P/L for a G21-35 Supertigre. Flat top piston, squared  exhaust and no perry ports. It had the "hard to make" transfer port and looked like a factory job.

I know Supertigre made ABC set ups for the G21=29 but did they make ABC in 35 size or was this after market?

Maybe a 29 sleeve bored out and re-chromed with a piston out of something else?

Anyone know about this?

Thanks,

Brian has made many Non Baffle piston liner sets, both laminar flo and schnuerle port. Not sure about specifically for the G21.35 which is the same pist/liner/head as the 35C combat version

I did a run of the flat top sets many years back.

I'm doing a new run of them this year.

That's great, I hope they are the final configuration with the oval exhaust and Perry ports.

MM, Not sure that one would fit in All of the cases which would limit it's marketability?

The last time I did them it was the square exh port and no perry ports. But it was so long ago I don't have the details anymore. So I have some sample motors coming, but I don't know what version they are yet.

None of the configurations are bad or have much of an advantage over the others but the rounded exhaust versions get better mileage and slightly more power.

I received the sample motors today and can confirm the G21/35 is the oval exh port and perry ported. So that is what I'll make.

I'll also do some heads to take Nelson plugs.

Usual deal - send me pm's to get your name on the waiting list for them and to ensure I make enough of them..
