Fourth round wins from Hungary,,,
« on: July 26, 2010, 02:21:16 PM »
I just intercepted an encrypted squirt communique from behind the Iron.

All four members of the Beanfield Flyers (Dresden Ontario, don't cha know?) were victorious in their first round matches.

Well done, Pat, Ivan, Brad, and Demetri.

Day Two was A Bad Day at Blackrock for most of our friends, except for Brad of the Beanfield, who remains undefeated.

Ivan was matched against the incumbant World Champion, and lightning strike that can't happen again.

Yes, it's FULL double elimination.

I have no reports on Day 3.  My operative have gone black.  I'm afraid the policia or the KGB may have triganulated their transmitter.

We got a squirt transmission from Hungary.

At the end of the fourth round, Brad & Pat have been eliminated, but Ivan and Dimitrie are still in.  Dimitrie was able to take down the reigning World Champion.

Your money on Ivan may have been a better choice than money in the stock market.  I hope that he does well.

At the moment, Canada is in the lead with 7 wins. That's the good news.

The downside is that it comes down to Ivan with one "yellow card".

There are seven nations close behind with more manpower.

More good news:  Bulgaria (featuring Dimitre of Buffalo & Dresden) has 5 wins and 2 survivors.

The USA still has Greg Hill of San Diego, but only 3 team points.

Fifth round good news:

Ivan MacKenzie and Dimetrie Valekov both won the fifth round.   We're still waiting for news about Greg Hill and Fred Meijer.   All olf Freds's employees in Michigan are pulling for him.
