Feed Pipe

I bought this combat metal tank and found that the feed pipe is jutting out quite a bit. Will the feed pipe be ripped out or the tank be ripped out of the combat wing on landing?

I have seen where some sport flyers would cut pieces of ply and put under engine lugs to hold the plane high enough to not worry about the fuel tank tubes.
