« on: July 01, 2012, 03:01:00 PM »
Well, it is done.  A lot of good combat.  Thanks to Cary and Andy Minor plus all of their support people for a great event.  Andy says it will be great er next year.   First pics are getting set up again, then some of the pilots during matches and then the awards. H^^

The last of them.   Winner overall was Richard Stubblefield,   Second is Tom Seigler(spelling),  and Third was Bob Mears.  Last pic is the group that made it happen.  Want to thank all the pilots and pit crews also, as without them it would not happen.  THANKS TO ALL.   H^^

Frogot to add that Cary Minor got a gift for his 4th place finish.jeh

Thanks Jim.  Trying to decide what to take pictures of and when is hard.   I don't know how Elwyn does it.  Digital cameras are so great. H^^

Nice job with the pictures.  Looks like a class AAA contest.

What happened to Chris Gay?  It looks like he scratched after the first round.

Any cutaways?

Way to go brother Tom!

I think one did get cut loose, but the shut off killed the engine before it hit the ground.  I know it looked like a set of lines being wadded up.  Also one other one that hit just before the deep grass.   Amazing how many mid airs did not happen, with the sound of planes clipping each other.  Some really world class flying. H^^
