Dar-Wing Jr.
« on: July 31, 2011, 03:23:15 AM »
I just got a Dar-Wing Jr. off of E-Bay and I have a question. This is the first one I've ever had my hands on. The rudder and skid plate are made from alum., would like to know if these 2 pices are correct to the kit.  mw~

I built several dar-wings in the 60s' they had the aluminum parts you refer to.

I had one of the sr and jr Dar Wings. About the only cavat I'd say is that you had better not believe that you do not need engine bearers on this model. They used to say that their wood was hard enough to not require it. Doublers would go a long way too.
It's about average for the period and you should have some fun with it.
