Combat Flyers in KC
« on: March 22, 2008, 04:49:43 PM »
Went to the field today and put a couple of flights on the Primary Force.  Howard Terrell showed up with a couple of ARF Noblers.  We did our flying and was relaxing waiting for Howard's wife when the Minor's showed up.  They were trying out their new Profi F2D engine.  Hard to beleive an engine will turn 30,000 rpm.  Anyway they asked me how do we get any combat flyers in the Kansas City area.  I will post the next question on the open forum.  Later,  DOC Holliday

Hey John, what flying field did you go to on Saturday?  Are you still using the circle at the Northern Knights field, or have you found an alternate site closer to home......inquiring minds want to know.  You certainly know more K.C. control line fliers than I ever knew existed............TDurrill in Platte City.

Yes it is the Northern Knights RC field.  Only one safe enough to fly at without noise complaints.  Would like to set a schedule for getting together on Saturdays.  DOC Holliday
