I know this is a stunt forum and most of the talk has been about the stunt team.   But, the old DOC wants to extend his congratulations to our Combat Team.    Tom Wilk has been updating me on F2C and his adventures.   Combat to me has to be one of the hardest to win.   I have watched the meet the Minor boys have hosted and amazes me how combat has evolved over the years.  Thanks to the team for representing our great country.

Thanks Team for getting to the Worlds and giving it a shot- guys and gal.  I saw all of them at the NATS and Alexandra, in particular, improved quite a bit in just a few matches.  F2D in right up there with team race.  If you and your pitcrew don't do everything to prefection your only hope is for the other flyer to do worse.  F2D has many more ways to lose than to win and at a big contest there can be a lot of tactical flying that ends up with two, three, or even four models crashed.

Chorny won again.  He was kissing everybody after he won in 2008, so we kept our distance this time.  His mates lifted him over their heads.  It took a lot of them.

I got an update from a friend who talks to yuvenko pretty often.  The report was that many of the matches, including the later ones were really awesome fighting for cuts.  Not many tactical matches, at least among the top flyers.
