WTB - Max-S / Max-H connecting rods OS # 2305

Looking for OS old part #2305. Rod has .25” big end hole and 5.5mm small end, for old-style MAX-H with smaller bypass. It’s the same size as the MAX-S rod except the small end 5.5 mm hole.

I read that someone made some that were bushed or real hard aluminum and I need a new one for my MAX-H S.  PM if you know who might can help.

Are you sure your part # is correct? I have a rod in the package that says it is for the 40SP, 40P,40R, and 40S and that part # is 24105008. Part # 23005007 is for the 35S among others. I'm confused. Which are you looking for?

Thanks Steve, I was never able to cross the old part # with the number you wrote, 24105008.  So that helps.

You wouldn't be interested in selling that rod would you?

I think I understand now. Your part number had me confused for a moment. Yes, I would sell it. Let's take this to private message. I'll get back with you when I figure the cost. I would buy a little bubble mailer to send it. Give me a day or so.

As far as I know, nobody made aftermarket rods for the 40H series, just the 35S.

Yes, I figured as much.  BUT I also thought that maybe a machinist talented enough to make such rods would also be talented enough to ream the small end hole on one of them to 5.5mm so I'm still hopeful...

Just to further confuse the issue   VD~ , the 2305 IS the number listed in the parts page for the 40 Con rod .in the instructions supplied with the engine .

Theres NONE here , but theres several OTHER O S , like LA & FP , if anyones gotta con rod problem .

Sounds like the Right Rods in the bank , there . Thinking the Max 35 C would be a fit . theres a R C version too . Single Ball race , case like the 40 S & P , SP etc .

INCIDENTLY the H - 29 R con rod , wrist pin , piston & liner ARE max 30 S parts , or V c V if the 29R & 35 C came FIRST .  :P
