The Magic Blue Heads were made by Tom Muggleston who no longer makes them. They are peculiar by the fact that the Glow Plug hole is slanted to the rear of the engine aswellas being anodized Blue. The rest of the modifications to make the Fox .35 run GREAT are: ST NVA, Stuffer Back Plate, and do not shrink down the venturi oriface! The ST NVA will run just fine if left alone! Shorten the Needle by heating it cherry Red, letting it cool, ane then bend it over so as to nor break off if ship is landed upside down. Cut off excess, these mods for profile mounts, file of sharp edges!

Good Luck!

Roy Johnson

Nowhere where you can just plug in your credit card and buy one.

eBay sometimes but $$$.

Occasionally one can be spotted buried in a parts lot.

Greg at Kamtechnik told me (July 2023) he was going to build a handful and see if they sold well, but I haven’t seen them posted yet.  Maybe if you let him know you were interested it would help the schedule.

Hi Roy, I'd try the Bay or on RCgroups.com and inquire! I'll check my stash to see if I might have one sticking around!

I'm making a production run of these in coming months - a clone of the blue magic head. Along with stuffer backplates and ABC piston/liner/rod/pin sets.

Send Brian a message directly and specify what you want.  Brian adds you to the list, then notifies you later in the process what the price will be and when they are expected to be ready.  It has worked very smoothly for me 3 times.  Brian is an excellent vendor.  He’s just very far away and shipping cost is out of his control.

Brian if the Piston/Liner/Rod/Pin is $115AUS +/-,  then how much is the whole enchilada including the clone of the blue magic head, along with stuffer backplate and ABC piston/liner/rod/pin sets?

I don't know yet. Is the short answer.

Heads will be approximately $32AUD. No idea on price of backplates yet.

I see Stan Frady is offering Fox 35 stuffer backplates for $30USD shipped.  He's on FB Control Line Classifieds.
Ordered one on Monday, he shipped it on Tuesday!
Seems he offers a bunch of mufflers too!
